After 17 years in the pharmaceutical industry (sales & marketing) in Paris, I have moved in the marvelous Alps area to begin a new personal life... and I am also considering starting a new professional life! Given my languages skills and my experience in sales & marketing but also in the health area, I would like to become a professional translator in these fields (but other topics very welcome to feed my natural curiosity!). I think beginning with volunteer translation could be a great opportunity and an efficient way to give a bit of my time. See you soon...

While I was in class 9, I started writing for a newspaper called “Shomotolâ€, the first community-newspaper in Bangladesh. Being a journalist I witnessed first-hand various crimes, violation of human rights, problems etc. But I was unable to do anything. Neither did I have an idea of how to solve these issues. After completion of high school, I got a scholarship at the Bangladesh Youth Leadership Centre for a four-month long leadership training program entitled “Building Bridges Through Leadership Training.†A month of academic studies and 3 months of field work taught me various skills in community-based activities. It also increased in me the sense of responsibility and love for my country. Therefore, I decided to focus firstly on changing myself and then on changing others, as we are very loud when it comes to talking, but hardly available when we are needed for work. I have volunteered for various national and international organizations. I usually work in projects related to Education, Health, Environment, youth empowerment, Social Entrepreneurship etc. As a Delegate I was attend the Youth Leadership Summit 2011. organized by Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center. As a Delegate & representative of Bangladesh I was attend the 1st South Asian Youth Conference, Bangalore, India. Changing hearts and minds is difficult. People always search for that which benefits them, but hardly do they wanna do that which would benefit the society. Here-in is the need for awareness, as most of us love our society, but often lack the desire to contribute. Lacking is the awareness of the fact that the society needs us. Hence, I have been using Facebook, twitter, Linkedin News Papers, Blogs and various other online-networking to bring awareness among the youth.
